What's the difference between DELF and TCF?

DELF is a permanent diploma (no expiry). TCF (Test de Connaissance du FranΓ§ais) is temporary (2 years) and used mainly for immigration.

Is DELF accepted for university in France?

Yes β€” DELF B2 (or DALF C1) is accepted by French universities as proof of French proficiency.

How long to prepare for DELF B2?

From B1: 200–350 hours. The writing and speaking sections require significant practice.

Can I retake individual sections?
