Key Vocabulary

Percentile

The percentage of test-takers you scored at or above. 85th percentile = you beat 85% of testers.

Data Sufficiency

GMAT-specific format where you judge if statements provide enough info โ€” not compute an answer.

Example: Is x > 5? (1) x > 4 (2) x < 6.

Adaptive

The GMAT Focus uses section-level adaptive difficulty โ€” harder questions appear if you answer correctly.

R1/R2 deadlines

MBA application rounds โ€” Round 1 usually mid-September, Round 2 early January.

Vocabulary Study Tips
