Key Vocabulary
Sufficient condition
A condition that guarantees a result. 'If A then B' โ A is sufficient for B.
Necessary condition
A condition required for a result. 'Only if B then A' โ B is necessary for A.
Contrapositive
The logically equivalent negation: 'If A then B' โ 'If not B then not A'.
Ad hominem
Fallacy of attacking the person rather than their argument.
Correlation/causation
Common LSAT flaw: treating a correlation as proof of causation.
