Who needs the FSP?

Any doctor with a medical degree from a non-German institution must pass the FSP to obtain an Approbation (medical licence) or Berufserlaubnis (temporary licence) in Germany.

Both EU and non-EU medical graduates require the FSP. It is the compulsory medical language certification for all non-native German-speaking physicians.
