Overview
Test of Proficiency in Korean (TOPIK) is the official Korean language proficiency exam used for Korean university admission, immigration, and employment. TOPIK I covers levels 1β2 (beginner); TOPIK II covers levels 3β6 (intermediate to advanced). Most use cases require TOPIK II Level 4 minimum.

- 2.Writing: master essay structure and formal connectors. A well-structured essay at Level 4 scores better than a complex but disorganized one.
- 3.Vocabulary: study Sino-Korean (νμμ΄) word roots β they account for ~60% of written Korean vocabulary.
- 4.Listening: watch Korean news (KBS News 9) and dramas at natural speed without subtitles.
