High-Score Strategies

  • 1.Download all official past TOPIK exams from topik.go.kr β€” they are free and the most accurate practice.

  • 3.Vocabulary: study Sino-Korean (ν•œμžμ–΄) word roots β€” they account for ~60% of written Korean vocabulary.
  • 4.Listening: watch Korean news (KBS News 9) and dramas at natural speed without subtitles.
  • 5.Grammar: Korean Grammar in Use (Intermediate and Advanced) covers TOPIK 3–6 grammar patterns.
  • 6.Set a word count target when writing essays β€” stopping at 600 words is a common mistake.
